Brenda Loibl (Sikora)

Brenda Jane Sikora of Saginaw, Michigan passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. She was 61 years old. Brenda Jane Loibl was born on August 30, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Joseph J. and Edwina S. "Boo" (Pohlman) Loibl. She was a proud 1976 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Brenda was a faithful member at Old Town Christian Outreach Center where she actively participated in many activities and ministries. As a young woman, she enjoyed crafts and was a talented seamstress making many Halloween costumes and clothing throughout the years. Brenda loved playing on her tablet and connecting with friends and family over social media. Above all, Brenda loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered for her strong will and her faith in God and family.

Surviving are a daughter, Sarah (Jeremy) Vasey of Freeland; two grandchildren: Cianna and Easton Vasey of Freeland; father, Joseph Loibl of Grayling; sister, Shari Dalton of Reese; a niece and two nephews: Hailey Bauer; Christopher and Adam Paier and their father, Roger Paier all of Reese. Also surviving are many cousins, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Edwina S. "Boo" Loibl; sister, Julianne Loibl; aunt and uncle, JoAnne and Fred Alcock.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Brenda’s aunt, Ann (Tom) Pohlman, for all the love, care, and kindness she provided to Brenda and her entire family.

A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. Honoring Brenda’s wishes cremation has taken place. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family c/o Sarah Vasey.
