Richard Davey
February 20, 1958 - April 15, 2021

Loving husband, father and brother passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 15, 2021 at the age of 63 years. He was born on February 20, 1958 to the late George and Lila (Bornhoff) Davey in Saginaw. Rich was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, class of 1976, he also attended Michigan Tech where he studied Engineering. On April 22, 1995 he married Kimberlee Williams in Saginaw.

Rich was employed with Consumers Energy for 41 years. He was a member of Saginaw Field and Stream, the National Rifle Association and Union 144. Richard was an avid trap and skeet shooter, outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter and boater. He was a very gifted and talented wood worker, making much of the furniture for his home.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kimberlee and their daughter Emilee Ann (Grant) Murphy of Saginaw. Rich is also survived by his brothers: Tom (Joan) Davey of Vonore, Tennessee and Jim (Linda) Davey of North Port, Florida and his nieces: Kim Davey of Oxnard, California, Michelle Davey of Nashville, Tennessee, Christine (Kenny) Boggs of Gainsville, Georgia and Jennifer (George) Thompson of Matthews, North Carolina.

A funeral service will take place at 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Saginaw First Assembly of God (5470 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, Mi). Pastor Leon Beaudin and Pastor Jacob Spence will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 am until the time of the service at church. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Rich was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
