David Rowell   (Spanish/History - Arthur Hill High School)
1918 - 2017

Rowell, H. David Saginaw, Michigan Passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Age 68 years. The son of the late Metta Grace (Sutter) and Harold E. Rowell was born March 13, 1941 in Saginaw. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School and Alma College. He taught Spanish and History at Arthur Hill School for many years and for one year at Nouvel Catholic Central. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church and a member of People to People, the Saginaw Club and the Midland Symphony Orchestra. He enjoyed spending time at the family farm in North Branch, Michigan.

Surviving are a niece and nephew and their spouses, Linda and Robert Kuebler, Romeo, MI; Daniel and Diane Rowell, Glenview, IL; four great nieces and nephews, Stephanie Rowell; Melissa Kuebler; Christopher Rowell; Scott Kuebler. He was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, G. William and Marjorie Rowell.

The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2008, at First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Kathryn S. Snedeker will officiate. Burial will be in the West Deerfield Cemetery, Fostoria, Michigan at 3:00 p.m. Monday. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday and then at the church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral service.
