Margaret Dietrich   (Physical Education/Coach - Arthur Hill High School)
1933 - 2012

Margaret was called home to Heaven by her Savior, Friday, September 21, 2012.  Age 78 years. The daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude (Graham) Schenck was born October 10, 1933 in Pontiac, Michigan. She was baptized into the Christian faith as a child.  She was confirmed as an adult into the Lutheran faith. Margaret married Loren Dietrich, June 16, 1956. He survives her. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Central Michigan University and taught for many years at Arthur Hill High School, coaching and teaching swimming and Physical Education.   She was a longtime member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, a faithful supporter of her husband and family and a faithful servant in her congregation. Margaret enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling, following sports and, most of all, serving her Savior.

       Surviving besides her husband, Loren, are her children, Mark (Inge) Dietrich, Zorneding, Germany;  Pastor Joseph Dietrich, Medford, WI;  Adele Dietrich, Anchorage, Alaska;  eight grandchildren, David and Martin Dietrich, Thomas, Laura, Caleb and Stephen Dietrich; Garrett and Elle Alderman; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
