James Hooper   (Physics/Media Center - Arthur Hill High School)
1928 - 2010

James E. Hooper Jr. of Saginaw passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Cartwright Care Center at the age 82. The son of the late Gladys (Trenary) and James E. Hooper Sr. was born February 20, 1928 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. He married Sandra L. Caudill, November 30, 1957. She survives him.

He served with the U.S. Navy. He received his Bachelor's of Science Degree from Northern Michigan University and Masters Degree from Central Michigan University. Jim taught in the Watersmeet School district from 1954 -1956 and at Arthur Hill High School from 1956 until his retirement in 1986.

Surviving besides his wife, Sandra, are a son, a daughter and their spouses, Andrew and Karen Hooper, Troy, MI; Susan and Ron Pelley, Livonia, MI; four grandchildren, Christopher and Kati Hooper; Alyssa and Alexandra Pelley
